Note to Parents: Sending your student to a grind teacher/school does not always mean they will get a straight A in the subject. They do need to put in a lot of effort themselves, complete homework we assign and attend grinds on a regular basis. Only then will they achieve their full potential in French.

Group Grinds

Group grinds take place on a weekly basis in Charleville Lodge Hotel in Dublin 7. Junior Cert grinds take place on Monday nights (7pm – 8:15pm), and Leaving Cert grinds take place on Thursday nights (7pm – 8:15pm). The grinds are delivered by our own teachers, including Paul Stenson (Founder), David Maury (French Native) and Eibhlín O'Donnell. The 46A bus stops right outside the door of the hotel and there is ample free car parking available. Term 1 commences in October 2014 and runs up until Christmas. Term 2 commences in February and runs up until the exams in June.

Weekly group grinds work out at only €15 per grind. You can join the class at any point in the term; the term pass price reduces every week according to the number of classes remaining. To see if the grinds suit you, you can attend your first grind free of charge. The balance will then need to be paid either on the day of your free grind, or before the start of the next grind.

Testimonials

"I found Paul's grinds very useful especially the Oral French course. This helped me as I got a chance to speak to a native French speaker. The notes are very in depth and helpful. It was of great benefit to me and did not ask for the expensive sums that other grinds ask for. It was a very friendly and interactive class and I would highly advise it to anyone struggling with French of those who wish to perfect their French"

Muireann Collins O'Regan, Muckross Park College,
Leaving Cert Student 2014

"Paul's excellent teaching methods helped me through sixth year French, and I would highly advise anyone to apply for all his courses"

Greg Murphy, St Mary's College Rathmines,
Leaving Cert Student 2014

"I found the weekly grinds very helpful with my learning of the French language. Paul was a great teacher and I found the interaction between Paul and students great instead of sitting at the back of a room while a teacher would keep reading without stopping"

Darragh Ryan, Ard Scoil Ris,
Leaving Cert Student 2014

"I found Paul's classes very enjoyable! The small class sizes made it easier to understand the work for Leaving Cert French and the price was an attraction for me"

Ross Kelly, St Declan's College,
